Doctorate

The program is based on the curriculum for the doctoral program in Social and Economic Sciences 2024 (in German only).

All information on admission to the doctoral program and the admission form can be found on the corresponding webpage of the Student Services Center.

Students with a dissertation subject from the field of economics are admitted to the Doctoral School of Economics. This was established by the Rectorate in 2016 as a faculty center of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics. A new version of the founding declaration (in German only) for the doctoral school was published in June 2024.

Aim:

The Doctoral School Economics is intended to provide a platform for improved doctoral training. This will enable doctoral students to network more closely with each other and to become more closely and earlier involved in the research work of the Economic Institutes.
